Facial recognition and search inside Milestone XProtect
eConnect layers recognition, watchlist alerting, and identity search onto Milestone XProtect without changing how the surveillance team works. Alerts appear in the workflow the operator already has open.
How the integration works
eConnect consumes XProtect camera streams, performs facial recognition and behavioral analysis, and publishes each result back as an analytics event with the matching bookmark. The operator sees the alert, clicks once, and lands on the relevant frame.
Recorded video is queryable the other direction as well. An eConnect identity search can return every XProtect clip in which that face appeared across cameras and across days, so an investigation that used to take an afternoon of scrubbing resolves much faster.
Supporting product visual
eConnect layers on top of the systems a property already runs, binding them to one identity and one investigation record.
What the integration delivers
XProtect analytics events
Recognition results are published as XProtect events and appear in the operator workflow already in use.
Face based clip retrieval
Search by face and review every related recording in time order.
Watchlist alerting
Self exclusion, ejection, and person of interest lists can be evaluated against entrance cameras in real time.
Bookmark on match
Each match keeps a precise video reference attached to the alert record.
Where teams put it to work
Each page follows the same structure so operators can compare partners quickly: overview, workflow, capabilities, use cases, visuals, and a clear next step.
Casino ejection enforcement
A patron ejected months ago returns on a busy night and the operator receives the alert before they reach the floor.
Retail and hospitality loss review
A register exception is scored, linked to the video, and reviewed with the event context already attached.
Person of interest support
A photo can be evaluated against entrance cameras without requiring a separate monitoring station.
How the data moves
eConnect reads from the partner platform, resolves identity, and returns intelligence. Nothing on the property has to be replaced to support that workflow.

eConnect
Intelligence layer
XProtect supplies the streams and recordings, while eConnect returns analytics events, alerts, and video references into the existing operator workflow.
What changes for the team
The outcome should be a tighter response path, a cleaner investigative record, and better continuity between identity, video, and operations.
Investigations in minutes, not days
A single photo resolves to a timeline, the associated video, and the linked events. Reviewers stop scrubbing footage and start reviewing evidence.
No system to rip and replace
The platform a property already bought, trained on, and budgeted for stays in place. eConnect adds the intelligence layer on top of it.
Bans that actually hold
A person removed once is recognized on the next visit, whether that is next week or three years later. Enforcement stops depending on who happens to be on shift.
One record, one truth
Identity, video, and operational data live in the same investigation record, so compliance requests and legal holds are answered from one place.
