Facial recognition and analytics over Light & Wonder casino management
Light & Wonder runs the floor. eConnect overlays facial recognition and analytics on top of it so a player rating, a redemption, and a jackpot can each resolve to a verified person on camera.
How the integration works
eConnect reads player tracking, rating, and machine event data from the Light & Wonder platform and binds each record to the face recognized at the seat, kiosk, or cage at that moment. The card in the reader and the person in the chair can be checked against each other continuously.
Anomalies surface as alerts with the video already attached. Card sharing, unrated play by a known advantage player, and jackpot claims by someone other than the tracked account can produce an event the surveillance team can review during the same shift.
Supporting product visual
eConnect layers on top of the systems a property already runs, binding them to one identity and one investigation record.
What the integration delivers
Rating verification
Rated play can be checked against the face actually seated at the machine or table.
Card sharing detection
The account in use and the recognized face can be compared for inconsistencies.
Jackpot and redemption review
High value events can be reviewed with the right identity and supporting video attached.
Player history alignment
Recognition helps connect repeated visits and floor activity back to the right person record.
Where teams put it to work
Each page follows the same structure so operators can compare partners quickly: overview, workflow, capabilities, use cases, visuals, and a clear next step.
Player rating audit
A rating can be verified against the person actually occupying the seat.
Jackpot claim review
A jackpot claim can be reviewed with the supporting face and floor event context together.
Advantage play detection
A known person of interest can be tied back to unrated or suspicious floor activity.
How the data moves
eConnect reads from the partner platform, resolves identity, and returns intelligence. Nothing on the property has to be replaced to support that workflow.

Intelligence layer
Light & Wonder floor events feed eConnect so player activity, video, and verified identity can be reviewed together.
What changes for the team
The outcome should be a tighter response path, a cleaner investigative record, and better continuity between identity, video, and operations.
Investigations in minutes, not days
A single photo resolves to a timeline, the associated video, and the linked events. Reviewers stop scrubbing footage and start reviewing evidence.
One record, one truth
Identity, video, and operational data live in the same investigation record, so compliance requests and legal holds are answered from one place.
Bans that actually hold
A person removed once is recognized on the next visit, whether that is next week or three years later. Enforcement stops depending on who happens to be on shift.
No system to rip and replace
The platform a property already bought, trained on, and budgeted for stays in place. eConnect adds the intelligence layer on top of it.
